If you are anything like me, then Tik Tok has become a borderline obsession.
I lived in the Vine era and am so happy to see another platform encourage us to all create unique content. But, my favorite thing about Tik Tok that Vine didn’t have is tutorials!
Sure I could go on Youtube and follow my favorite tutorial channels, but the ease of Tik Tok allows me to find new people and new products I normally would never encounter.
This is why I want to share some products I have tried, and how awesome they are!
Vibrating Rose Quartz Roller
I had seen this before in Bed Bath & Beyond but hadn’t taken the plunge. It didn’t seem like it would actually do anything, but I recently learned that Rose Quartz is better for your skin (less porous than Jade so there is less bacteria introduction) so I decided to try it out after watching a very convincing Tik Tok. I have tried it for a week or so now and love it so much more than my old jade roller! It also comes with a de-puffing under eye attachment that I use to help massage my serums in.
7 Day Chin Tightening Masks
These you wouldn’t think would work at all, but think again! I have been using them with my boyfriend and currently we are on day 4. My friends have also purchased these and gone through the whole cycle with a snatched chin at the end! It helps reduce your double chin, and tightens the skin using Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe extract. It recommends doing the 7 day regimen and then repeating every 4 weeks for best results. I am super stoked on this product, and will definitely be getting it again in a couple weeks.
The Ordinary Products
I had heard of The Ordinary for a while now, but hadn’t taken the plunge until I saw every single beauty guru on Tik Tok post about this brand. I took a crazy plunge and have bought about 10 products. I created a system thanks to many, many articles and have an AM/PM regimen for different things I want to tackle like breakouts and wrinkles. I highly recommend grabbing some of their best sellers and trying them out for yourself, asap!
Ginger, Egg, and Turmeric Masks
Thanks to Tik Tok I have started creating a couple at home DIY masks. The first is the ginger mask, which works very similarly to the Aztec Clay mask. In my opinion, the ginger mask works on those smaller problem areas in a shorter amount of time. I create a paste using water and ginger powder, and put it on my chin and nose for about 10/15 minutes!
Second is the Egg and Turmeric mask! I mix an egg and about a teaspoon of turmeric into a bowl and then use a small fluffy makeup brush to apply it on my face. I leave it on until it starts to dry and tighten. Then I wash it off with warm water. I don’t recommend doing this all the time, just because wasting an egg is no fun!
Let me know if you have tried any of these, and what your favorites are!
I would also love to know any products you guys recommend :)
